This is yet another awesome book by Thomas Locke (Davis Bunn). While the whole concept of time and space travel is a little bit vague, but the pieces came together as the story progressed. The story really grabbed and I was sad when it ended and learned I have to wait a whole year for the next part. I enjoyed the tension of the plot and not knowing really which characters to side with. Both groups seem to be doing what they believe is right, so it is challenging to know who to side with. And I enjoyed how love is thing that wins over all. This is a great book and I am eagerly waiting for the next installment.

It is quality historical fiction with a strong narrative voice. I really liked the characters and it was interesting to see how all of the secrets they carried with them affected them. I enjoyed the relationships between the characters and how the setting was
